Led by ONE.shirt, a Timișoara-based social enterprise working with textile reuse and collective making, this hands-on workshop contributes directly to Aslı Çiçek’s Copertină. Participants will work together with recovered fibres and textile waste, transforming leftover material into a new architectural layer for the Beta site.
Based in Timișoara, ONE.shirt is a social enterprise working at the intersection of textile reuse, design and social inclusion. The project transforms discarded, donated and personally meaningful textiles into new, long-lasting pieces, using production as a way to rethink waste and consumption while creating flexible and adaptable work opportunities for people from vulnerable backgrounds. Built around a collaborative making process, ONE.shirt brings together craftsmanship, circularity and community, proposing a more conscious relationship with the materials and clothes already around us.
