Annual LINA General Assembly

Between 19 and 21 June, part of the Beta team is in Slovenia for the annual General Assembly of LINA, which takes place at the Faculty of Architecture in Ljubljana.

The European LINA Platform, in which we are proud that Beta participates as a member, is a network that connects relevant institutions with emerging practitioners and thinkers working at the intersection of architecture and other fields related to spatial culture: it aims to promote emerging talent.

Every year, LINA organises an open call for emerging talent. Selected fellows are invited to present their work at the LINA Conference and are associated with member organisations, including Beta. Collaborations between LINA Fellows and LINA members take place throughout the year as part of the LINA Architecture Program.

Representatives of LINA members form the General Assembly, which meets twice a year to discuss the trajectory of the platform. They vote to select the 25 projects, whose authors become LINA Fellows, and confirm the Governing Board.

In preparation for the fifth edition of Beta, we invited LINA fellows to contribute to the Loading Beta programme, which took place in April in Timisoara.

At the 2024 edition, we will work with the new generation of LINA fellows, selected right now at the General Assembly in Ljubljana.
