A hands-on workshop dedicated to street photography and the ways it can help us observe, explore, and document the spaces around us.
The event begins with a short guided tour of the Beta 2026 exhibition, followed by an introduction to street photography led by Oana Vedinaș and Tomi Borza. Participants will discover techniques and creative approaches for capturing the people, places, and moments that define the urban environment.
During the practical part of the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to test Ricoh cameras, made available with the support of Focus Nordic, and put what they have learned into practice, taking photographs both within the exhibition and in its surroundings.
The session concludes with a selection and collective discussion of the images produced, together with the workshop leaders.

Oana Vedinaș is a photographer specialising in portrait, boudoir, and maternity photography, whose work has been published in Forbes Romania, Viva, and Avantaje. She is a Focus Nordic Ambassador, Nikon Z8 Creator, and founder of the ZAMBAC creative hub in Timișoara, while also being active in photography education through workshops and programmes dedicated to photographers.
Tomi Borza is a Romanian photographer and visual artist whose practice focuses on long-term documentary projects exploring social realities, rural depopulation, and communities undergoing transformation. Working across fine art and editorial photography as well as photojournalism, in 2025 he founded Negativescu, a platform dedicated to analogue photography and photographic education in Romania.
