About Wang Consulting
Wang Consulting is a project-based label operating between Brussels, Berlin and Switzerland. Formed in 2015 by Joëlle Laederach as a platform to launch collaborations with various artists and designers, Wang Consulting releases capsule collections following an irregular schedule, creates artistic installations and develops costumes for art, dance and music performances.
Collaborations include artists like Manon de Boer, Stine Janvin and Billy Bultheel and brands like Chloé, Ottolinger and ecco.kollective. The brand’s goal is to minimize its contribution to global overproduction and instead rather use discarded / cast-off material as a base to imagine future forms. The garment lines ‘fanwear’ and ‘uncovers’ are a continuous collaboration between the two designers Joëlle Laederach and Sabrina Seifried, who are also the two artists within our exhibition.
