About Delfina Fantini van Ditmar, Zowie Broach, Brian Kirkby

Dr Delfina Fantini van Ditmar is a biologist, design researcher and Lecturer at the MA Fashion at the Royal College of Art. Driven by her interest in ecological thinking, reflective practices and inter-relations as a systemic response to the environmental collapse, Delfina's critical practice examines material ethics of care and the necessary paradigm shift in design. In her teaching practice, Delfina encourages students to reflect on epistemological paradigms, envision alternative futures, think systemically and critically analyse the broader implications of their decisions.

BOUDICCA is a London-based design duo (Zowie Broach and Brian Kirkby) respected for their integrity, depth of design, and attention to detail. Their collections are deeply researched while executed in the finest European fabrics, all with sculptural attention to the fit and finish of each garment. Where form follows emotion, these are clothes not as escapism but of expression. The first fashion show to be live streamed back in 2004 by SHOWstudio; BOUDICCA it is archived by The Met and Kensington Palace. Currently Zowie Broach is the Royal College of Art MA Fashion Head of Programme, always looking to be part of the next paradigm shift in Fashion as a design practice.
