Main Exhibition: In Practice – as opposed to 'in theory'

Metapolis is a Brussels, Cluj and Bucharest-based practice founded by Mircea Munteanu and Cristian Panaïté, working at the confluence of city and nature across scales. For Beta 2026 the team also includes Stefan Mirica alongside the two founders. With backgrounds in architecture, urbanism and constructed landscape, their projects are conceived as identifiable designs that develop into symbiotic systems, embedded in, revealing and enriching their respective environments.
