Office in Residence Main Exhibition: In Practice – as opposed to 'in theory'

The Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning, Timișoara (FAUT), is one of Romania’s five main schools of architecture and is known for its commitment to research-based design approaches. Building on a 50-year tradition of experimental pedagogy, initiated by the Sigma Group and continued through subsequent studios and initiatives, the faculty promotes critical and practice-oriented design education. It initiated OAR’s Festival for Architecture Schools of Tomorrow (FAST), and its work has been presented at events including the Venice Biennale, the Rotterdam Biennale and Vienna Design Week.
