Carlos Pena

Carlos Pena is a Spanish architect, urban planner and artist based in Paris. His research and artistic projects focus on the place and appropriation of public space by LGBTQI+ communities. His professional practice focuses on the rehabilitation and adaptation of existing urban contexts, with the aim of improving their use, introducing new programmes and integrating new publics into the city. Among other projects, he participated in the conception, design and management of public spaces in Lyon’s financial district La Part Dieu with l’AUC.
