In the Built Space category, we want to celebrate and recognise outstanding residential and non-residential projects, alongside their creators. The category, like the entire competition, is open to Romania, Hungary, and Serbia and examines projects received between July 2022 and July 2024. We want to highlight projects and the ability of the specialists to respond simultaneously to sustainability, social, cultural, economic, urban, and identity requirements.

This category brings together projects that not only meet the functional needs of users but also contribute significantly to the social, cultural, and urban landscape of the environments in which they are located. The category is intended for architects who shape both private spaces - individual or collective dwellings - and public, semi-public, or semi-private buildings, intended for the community or a wide range of users, through newly built architecture or interventions on existing buildings.

This category will be divided into two subcategories.
