Project description in English

In an attempt to provide a wider rental framework for potential tenants, we proposed the creation of a calm atmosphere, where light and natural accents were the key elements of the proposed design. The texture details and the palette of pastel shades, calm, but at the same time modern and with minimalist accents, define the design of the apartment whose ultimate goal was to preserve the qualities over time and maximize the existing space. One of the challenges of the apartment was to position the kitchen, the living room and the dining room in the main space, which had an area of 24 square meters, without it looking too busy. With this challenge in mind, choosing the right colors was essential to create a feeling of open and bright space, thus opting for light and bright colors that reflect light and create the illusion of a larger space. Also, mirrors and artificial lighting were among the elements helping to change the perception of space. Placing mirrors in certain key areas helped create the effect of depth while reflecting natural light throughout the room. To make the space more efficient, we proposed incorporating hidden storage spaces and positioning them in continuation of the kitchen furniture, thus connecting the kitchen furniture with the living area. Cladding the pillar and walls with the same material created visual continuity, while also contributing to changing the perception of space.
