Project description in English
‘Bill’s Buffet’ is a 12m long object that looks like a table, feels like and installation and acts like a public sculpture.
It’s my largest metal installment yet, a clear intention that works in different levels: intimate, slow and dynamic , public.
The site specific curvatures can bring together, dissipate, attract or shoot around. You can sit at it, stand around it, eat or drink, make it a temporary retail experience. It’s ‘bigness’ works at a humas scale and carries a magnetic energy that always generates wonder. I realised that working at this scale, the object acts in another dimension - a public one; and it works.
This object was part of the first edition of RAD Design, that took place at Caro Hotel in Bucharest.
