Francesca Iovene

Francesca Iovene is a photographer based in Milan, Italy. She graduated in Architecture at Politecnico di Milano and she lived in Valparaíso, Chile, and Berlin, Germany.

Her projects have been exhibited at the Milan Triennale, Foundation of Milan Order of Architects, and Bergamo-Brescia Capital of Culture. She collaborates with publishing houses such as Quart Verlag, Sagep, LetteraVentidue and her images are regularly published in major architecture magazines.

She worked for the Italian Ministry of Culture and was a member of the jury of the AFA - Architecture Film Award.

She investigates the relationship between human vision, memory, and anthropological space, combining photographic practice with architectural research.
