After you will have enjoyed the interesting dialogue between Malkit Shoshan and Oliver Wainwright, as well as the guided tour of the entire exhibition by the curatorial team, it will once again be time to dance. Join us in at the stage in the courtyard of the Garrison Command, where two established yet fresh names will be in charge of the mood.
Cosmin TRG
Cosmin TRG, a music producer with over a decade of experience who remains as relevant as ever on the contemporary electronic music scene, will start his set at 8 PM.
As part of the biennale, Cosmin Nicolae also presents an audio-visual installation inspired by Pasolini's Oedipus Rex, featuring original music by himself. You can find more details about this on his dedicated artist page below.
Khidja
The second night of Beta 2024’s opening weekend will conclude with yet another significant name within the local electronic music scene who also has also powerfully permeated the Berlin: Khidja, who are slated to start their set at 9:30 PM.
Khidja blends the analog music of the past, where the art of mastering an instrument was crucial, with new, contemporary sounds, including soundscapes and genres such as techno and industrial, among others. In 2022, the duo conceptualized and curated the experimental music festival "CURRENTS" at EWERK in Luckenwalde. You can find more information on their artist page below.
This will be the second night of musical performances for the Beta 2024 edition, cover me softly. However, the biennale’s musical program will by no means end here. Every weekend of the biennale will feature more music. But until then, don't forget to check out the full schedule for the opening weekend here.
