The submission period for the 2024 Beta Awards closed on July 19.
Thank you to everyone who sent us their best projects from the last two years. A total of 395 projects were entered in the 7 Award categories. This number is not only a record for the event but also a reflection of a dynamic professional environment.
Selection process
The Beta Awards are divided into the following competitive categories and sub-categories:
Built Space: Residential (S - 22 projects, M - 7 projects , L - 9 projects) și Non-residential (New - 25 projects, Interventions on existing buildings- 19 projects) / Interior Space: Interior Design (73 projects) and Temporary Design (13 projects) / Public Space: Urban Design (12 projects) , Urban Studies (2 projects), Temporary Installations (25 projects) / Graduation Projects (73 projects) / Endeavours (46 projects) / Text (21 projects) / Photography (48 projects).
For the main categories, the international jury is made up of 5 architects, while the Text and Photography categories each have a dedicated jury of 3 specialists.
What's next
Starting next week, our team will carefully go through all projects and assess the correctness of the forms.
We will publish the results of the preliminary analysis on July 24.
