Aeach edition of the Biennial, we are left with an inventory of objects.
In time they get reused, archived and even lost. Yet, some pieces endure as physical evidence of past creative moments.
Instead of following a traditional, linear narrative of remembrance, the exhibition reflects the fragmented and associative nature of creative development, where ideas emerge, overlap, and evolve through unexpected connections.
The exhibition draws on a mix of materials, footage, found objects, books, photography: these diverse elements illustrate the dynamic interplay of resources and influences that come together to shape each curatorial effort.
They are not delimited or grouped, mirroring how our memories themselves are often non-linear, tangled, jumbling moments, ideas, and artifacts.
We bring them here today to celebrate 10 years and 5 editions of Beta, in a retrospective through object - an object repository exhibiting the creative process of the Biennial.
