Project description in English

New Fishing Paradise for Nature Lovers Near Budapest Far from the noise of the city yet within reachable distance from Budapest, in the embrace of nature on the shore of a calm fishing lake, lies Hello Wood’s latest project. Realized in 2023, this comprehensive program plan for a fishing paradise near the capital city is located in the picturesque Göböljárás. The 100-hectare fishing center welcomes visitors with exceptional architectural and landscape architectural solutions. The cabins, piers, outdoor furniture, as well as the central community and economic buildings of the fishing lake, designed and constructed by Hello Wood, harmoniously blend with the natural environment, almost becoming one with it. The client of the project placed significant emphasis on architectural values and details, providing an educational background that is intrinsically linked to fishing culture. During the comprehensive area development, the piers, bridges, fishing lodges, economic and event buildings were all created in a nature-friendly manner with minimal earthwork, paying attention to minimal environmental impact. One side of the fishing lodges faces the forest, while the other side faces the lake, allowing visitors to enjoy the beauty of both the woodland and the lake view. The lodges provide quick access to fishing equipment, are furnished with custom-made furniture, and ergonomically designed for sport enthusiasts. Additionally, temporary and long-term storage options for fishing gear are also available. The economic building serves multiple functions. It houses maintenance tools, the warden’s accommodation, social units, and an event space suitable for fishing events and team-building activities. The sophisticated interior design features a clean aesthetic, detailed finishes, and a community kitchen to welcome guests. Separate showers have also been installed for visitor comfort. Beyond the economic building, communal tables, picnic areas, and selective waste management facilities are available throughout the area. The new fishing center is situated on a nature-friendly managed and maintained area where llamas and other friendly animals make the location even more special. The 12-hectare lake within the area provides an ideal environment for fishing lovers.
