Text presentation of the author/office in English

We are a group of architects united by the passion for our work and the desire to bring new qualities to the surrounding built space, Format 4 comes as a proposal to mediate the relationship between human and architecture. Our approach relies on a permanent analysis of our customers needs in parallel with the requirements of the locations studied. Usual or familiar pattems and forms are always discussed and compared with contemporary development directions to create new spatial experiences and to bring a special touch to each individual project.

Project description in English

The interior design of this office space is characterized by a minimalist aesthetic with simple and clean lines. The walls are fully clad in veneered MDF panels in a natural shade that creates a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The ceiling is mostly left exposed bringing an industrial feature to the space. The floor made of natural terrazzo slabs, combined with parquet, gives a touch of elegance and sophistication to the space. It is extremely resistant, easy to maintain, giving a continuous look to the space. To increase productivity and create a comfortable working environment, the office offers several types of spaces: the work area and the lounge area where a small kitchen is hidden, the dining area and a comfortable modular sofa. The colors are reduced to few shades, in warm tones that allow the natural wood fiber to reign in the space. Natural light comes from the generous glazed surfaces and is supplemented by artificial light in different scenarios when necessary. This allows flexibility in adjusting the level of illumination according to the specific needs of the user. The design incorporates various smart equipment to improve efficiency in use: lighting and climate that can be controlled remotely, integrated audio-visual systems for presentations and meetings, and also photovoltaic panels that ensure electricity consumption. In conclusion, this relatively small office space with a minimalist yet welcoming design balances aesthetics with functionality providing a comfortable and appealing environment for its users.
