Text presentation of the author/office in English

Our practice is based on the continuous seek for a balance between architecture as a creative gesture with social responsibility and the requirements imposed by the clients and the ever-changing environment. The challenges of different contexts, scales and functions that define the projects we have worked so far have enriched our experience and prepared us for any challenges that a new project can bring. Over the years, we have gained wide experience in residential housing, which raised us the issue of improving the processes we build our cities and has facilitated our understanding of the complex nature of our profession, always seeking to deliver higher quality projects, which put the man in the spotlight.

Project description in English

The story of this project began with the winning of an architectural competition, which generated a long-term collaboration that raised the problem of collective living in a residential complex located in the central area of Timisoara. Our concept focuses on several levels, from designing a volume that generates a series of exterior spaces, open to the community, to the design of high quality interior spaces with good illumination. The buildings are forming an assembly composed of a high-pitched base, whose dynamic orientation breaks the monotony of the main street and creates public spaces away from the urban agglomeration, and four volumes placed on this basis, which emphasize volumetric dynamics.
